Educational Opportunity Grants: 03/27/10 The Selection Committee members were Lavonne Kaiser, Paul Stafford, and Henry Williams. All FRW members in good standing were eligible to apply, excluding Chapter Officers and Selection Committee members. Eight applications were received and reviewed independently by each member of the Selection Committee who then ranked the applications based on the following weighted factors: Benefit to the Front Range Woodturners and/or the local community Benefit to the Individual Cost efficiency (i.e. bang for the buck) Quality of the application (thoughtfulness, etc) The Selection Committee discussed the results of their individual rankings and reached the following consensus, which was approved by the Chapter Officers at the May 27, 2010 Executive Committee meeting.
