Bruce has figured out how to make the Jet Mini Lathe (VS model) go in reverse. This is helpful for sanding in both directions, which will get you a better finish, and hollowing in reverse (as we recently saw Don Derry demonstrate). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontrangewoodturners.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/ReversingJet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here are the instructions for reversing the Jet mini lathe<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"body-nospace\"><strong>Reversing the Jet Mini Lathe, revisited<\/strong> \u2014 Brandon Mackie<\/p><p class=\"body-indent\">Brandon gave the &#8220;Reversing The Jet Mini Lathe&#8221; a shot and it was easier to do than he thought it would be. Especially because he doesn&#8217;t know the first thing about electricity. Brandon did have a modification to Bruce&#8217;s instructions, and tried to clarify the instructions for those of us who don&#8217;t know anything about electricity. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontrangewoodturners.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/reversing_the_jet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check out his modification<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"body-nospace\"><strong>Index Layout Wheel<\/strong> \u2014 Paul Stafford<\/p><p class=\"body-indent\">Paul Stafford was nice enough to provide a template he designed for members to download.
